September has come, and we are seeing again some hot days in Fukuoka. Hey, we want some sunny days while summer is still here!
The other day, we did the photo shoot for the 2015 spring/summer collection of “FUJITO“, my apparel brand. “When thinking about the collection, do you know the trend of the next year?”: this was a simple question that an intimate customer asked me. My honest answer was “no, I don’t”, but usually I think like “this style could be nice”, or “this season was like this, so maybe for the next season we should do this way”… The best is thinking about something we actually want to wear.


This photo shoot as well was made by Hiroshi Mizusaki, also member of CENTRAL. The two models were the usual ones. The photo shoot takes several hours in Hiroshi Mizusaki’s studio, but gradually many friends drop in at the studio, and while everybody chats and laughs the atmosphere becomes so good that you forget about the time and we go on until late night. Watching the photos on the screen makes you feel a bit more relaxed, conscious that it’s going to be a good work. Next week I’m going to Tokyo to present the collection, then, the following week I’m in Hasami for the collective exhibition “thought“: an extremely intense September has just started.
