CENTRAL_MAP 「GIFT SHOP」

Inside Central Editors’ blog,
CENTRAL_MAP is a space dedicated to present spots I visit,
and shops connected with the members of DAYS.
This time I visited 「GIFT SHOP」 in Kumamoto, just close to the castle area.
As the shop’s name says, the goods are just perfect for gifts: teddy bears that can only be found here, framed greeting cards, and other unique articles that make this shop so funny and interesting to visit.
In the back of the shop there is the office, where the owner and designer of the shop looks for goods in Japan and abroad, and buy them directly for the shop.
I was really interested by the signed skateboard decks that were on display in the back office, but they are not for sale.
The owner works also as a designer, so the shop could be closed sometimes. So check it out before visiting.
