Train to London

There is a song, “Last Train to London”, by the Electric Light Orchestra, whenever I take a train in England, I remember this song.
And this is London.
I’m living in London for a month, it’s long but I’m kind of busy and I cannot have fun. I’d like to go somewhere in the countryside.
Every 2 or 3 days I’m changing the place where I stay, so I’m visiting a lot of places, but they are cheap accommodations always in the suburbs.
I lived here from 1996 to 1999.
Starting from that time, in the period leading to the Olympic Games, prices rose very high: a real estate bubble. London is a very expensive city… but for some reason, it’s a place where you want to come.
