DAYS_
HENRI MATISSE “The Cut-Outs” at TATE MODERN
When I’m in London, I like to eat breakfast outside the hotel if possible. In Hoxton there are so many interesting restaurant it’s hard to decide. Today it’s Bones Restaurant, just a quick walk from my apartment. You can really taste the celery in this vegetable juice, I loved it.
As I said the other day, from South Bank I went to Tate Modern Gallery for the Henri Matisse exhibition “Cut-Outs”.
It’s a great exhibition. First of all, the size: the collages were so many that one Tate’s wall almost couldn’t contain them. Of course the Jazz series, but also the works and the vestments for the Vence Chapel: it was amazing to be able to look at them so close. It’s an exhibition I hope I will be able to see again in this life.
