I went to see “Still the Water”, a movie set in Amami Island, a place I totally fell in love with, since my first visit, last year in December.
The hotel I always stay at is used as a location, so it’s a movie I really enjoyed in a personal way, too. Especially the little girl, the heroine of the story, is amazing.


You feel the time in Amami, that flows with its unique rhythm, a feeling even more strong staying in a big city like Fukuoka. The green of the trees, the red of the flowers, those extremely deep colors made a vivid impression on me.


Personally, I have a project going on in this island. I hope I can announce it soon in this space.

This movie made me want to go to Amami again.
