DAYS_
Eating in Taipei
October 22, 2014 /
I went to Taiwan for a weekend. The purpose of the trip was enjoying the food and shopping, staying in Taipei for three days and two nights. It took 2 hours and 20 minutes from Fukuoka to Taiwan International Airport. It was a fast flight, I had just the time to watch “Yves Saint Laurent”, the movie, and we were landed. By the way, the movie was good, even if I didn’t understand it so much, because it was in English.
Bike traffic is impressive, and everybody drives so fast.
I ate a lot in Taipei and this street stall had the best bifun noodles.
They use narrow and thick noodles together. It was good that the old ladies working in the stall could speak a bit of Japanese.
For these three dishes I spent about 500 yen: everything is so cheap.
Japanese companies are expanding their business here, and it’s helpful to find almost all the Japanese convenience stores. Everybody is so kind with Japanese people. I think it’s hard to find a country where Japanese are treated so kindly.
I also visited Chifeng Street. I will upload some pictures soon.
I want to go back to Taipei very soon.
