Seasonal colors

December has arrived. I have a lot of work to do, and to take a break I’m putting some photographs in order. They are landscapes taken during recent travels, and watching those pictures, I think that colors are really beautiful in this season. I upload some pics and than, back to work.
The tutelar deity of my atelier, ginkgo trees at Torikai Hachimangu shrine, Fukuoka. (December 1st)
Taketa city, Oita prefecture. On the way to a construction site, the susuki (Miscanthus) shines at the sun. (November 17th)
Teshima, Kagawa prefecture. Autumn colors at their peak. (November 23rd)
Koichi Futatsumata
Designer. Born in 1975 in Kagoshima. President of "CASE-REAL", the architectural firm focused on interior and building design, and "KOICHI FUTATSUMATA STUDIO", specialized on furniture and product design. After studying architecture at university, in 1998 he set up his own business. Since then, based in Fukuoka and Tokyo, he has worked on various projects in Japan and abroad. His works are included in the permanent collection of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and have received several awards and prizes.
