1971 Katsuya Sugi is born in Yoshii, Ukiha city, Fukuoka prefecture.
1994 Becomes the second-generation owner of the Sugi pig farm.
2000 Founds the meat processing branch RIVERWILD HAM FACTORY.
2004 Along with the start of the new project of “kakibuta”, persimmon-fed pigs, the culinary association called “Kakibuta no kai” starts holding meeting all around the country.
2014 Studio RIVERWILD Phantom is built on the former site of the factory, as a place to present food and products. From here, he is going to explore charm and possibilities inside food and ingredients.
